By public transport:

In summer daily buses travel from Edinburgh every morning and return in the evening. From Glasgow direct buses and trains reach Crianlarich from where you can be collected on request. Alternatively there are buses via Stirling and Callander to the Balquhidder road end at the King’s House Hotel (Balquhidder not Glencoe) on the A84. A subsidised taxi service connecting with these bus services runs up Balquhidder glen and will take you up to Monachyle Mhòr (phone 01877-384-740 to cross the narrows by boat) or directly to Monachyle Tuarach and the WHA studio.
